This timeline focuses on the Custom GPT integration sprint. The underlying Song CMS, VEC, Video Factory and Social Factory were existing systems that the GPT was connected to and expanded.

DAY 1July 30, 2026

Custom GPT foundation, rules and secure access

The Stashbox Radio Custom GPT was formally defined as a private operator for the existing Social Factory—not as a generic chatbot.

  • Created the GPT setup package: operating instructions, OpenAPI Action schema, acceptance tests and configuration guide.
  • Defined the controlled workflow from song discovery through campaign planning, rendering, Content Review, scheduling and publishing.
  • Added the six-size SR Profile Image Set specification, exact dimensions, naming rules and ZIP-delivery requirements.
  • Created a dedicated, revocable Custom GPT credential instead of sharing the browser-admin credential.
  • Added route-level permissions, actor separation and explicit confirmation rules for render, approval, schedule and publish operations.
  • Deployed and iteratively verified the authentication layer while preserving existing Social Factory browser access.

DAY 2July 31, 2026

Secure review, YouTube publishing defaults and media reliability

The GPT gained the ability to safely inspect finished videos and prepare them for controlled YouTube publication.

  • Built the authenticated secure-preview page and controller for private Social Factory videos.
  • Fixed Action response handling so the GPT could return the stable review-page URL instead of exposing temporary storage links.
  • Added YouTube defaults for Stashbox publishing, including playlist assignment and consistent metadata behavior.
  • Defaulted YouTube recording date to the actual publication date, including scheduled-publication handling.
  • Added and tested the YouTube playlist-assignment helper.
  • Improved artwork and vertical-preview handling so the complete image remained visible rather than being mechanically cropped.
  • Strengthened render-job and preview response compatibility for GPT Actions.

Natural-language campaigns and campaign-level review

The GPT became easier to operate conversationally and the Social Factory gained a unified campaign review experience.

  • Made natural-language campaign requests deterministic: song count, duration, aspect ratio, current assets, VEC recipes, overlays off and no duplicate songs.
  • Added acceptance tests for conversational campaign requests and one useful launch confirmation.
  • Built a campaign-level review page so a batch could be reviewed together instead of through disconnected individual links.
  • Grouped Content Review items by campaign and added exact campaign-review links.
  • Added current-campaign selection, improved full-frame video display and stabilized mobile/desktop review controls.
  • Exposed backend selection dates and newest-song fields to the GPT Action schema.
  • Corrected OpenAPI validation issues so the latest Action schema could be imported into the Custom GPT.
Why it matteredDay 3 made the system usable as an actual production assistant: the user could describe a campaign naturally and review the resulting batch as one organized unit.

Analytics, scheduling, cancellation and final acceptance

The remaining operational gaps were closed and the complete private DEV workflow was accepted.

  • Added read-only top-song analytics with play, like and share ranking plus artist and genre filtering.
  • Made Reggae analytics deterministic and verified that five filtered results could be returned without mutation or publication.
  • Added batch schedule validation and schedule creation, including per-item results.
  • Enforced America/New_York handling across scheduled posts, modal views and GPT scheduling conversations.
  • Added schedule-list and calendar views, schedule details, cancellation confirmation and structured cancellation errors.
  • Verified the connected Stashbox YouTube channel, playlist-write scope, video ownership and default playlist membership.
  • Proved immediate YouTube publishing with Hippy Speedball and scheduled publishing with Peace Chant.
  • Made the ✓ YouTube Scheduled state highly visible in Social Factory.
  • Accepted the six-size profile-image set and clickable ZIP delivery workflow.

Separate future phases

  • This acceptance is for the private DEV environment. Production hardening and DEV-to-production promotion are a separate phase.
  • Official YouTube collaborator invitations and a Short’s related-video selection still require YouTube Studio.
  • Only YouTube is connected for direct publishing in this completed phase; Facebook, Instagram and TikTok remain future integrations.
  • The GPT does not publish autonomously from vague instructions. High-impact actions remain confirmation-gated.
  • The image workflow requires a usable source image and may need creative iteration when text or composition is unusually complex.
