Rock Reggae Blues Funk Originals South Florida 2–8 Piece Full PA System

Stashbox is a South Florida live band built for the stage — high energy, genre-spanning, and always locked into the room. From intimate bar sets to festival main stages, we bring the same commitment to every performance.

The band plays original music alongside deep-catalog covers spanning rock, reggae, blues, funk, and Americana. Tribute productions — Stashbox Does Dylan, Stashbox Does Sublime, and our Classic Reggae show — are full-scale, fully rehearsed performances with period-appropriate arrangements and production.

We come fully self-contained with a professional PA system and can scale from 2 to 8 pieces depending on the venue and budget. Studio recordings were tracked at Studio One, Fort Lauderdale, FL.

THE PLAYERS

01

Dean Palermo

Guitar / Vocals · Founder

Primary guitarist and co-founder, Dean shreds with taste — blistering leads, laid-back funk, Jeff Beck-style invention, and a classic reggae chop developed over 15+ years working directly with Toots and the Maytals. He also produces tracks with Stephen Marley's world-touring drummer Squidly Cole out of Stashbox Studios in Davie, FL. By day, Dean runs Elettro.com, a top South Florida digital agency — meaning Stashbox shows come with professional-grade marketing built in.

02

Josh Clyde

Lead Vocals / Guitar

Youthful, electric, and impossible to ignore — Josh brings soul, intensity, and spontaneous front-man energy everywhere he goes. His signature skill is in-the-moment improvised rap and banter woven around audience interaction, keeping people mystified, engaged, and dancing. Versatile enough to sing, rap, or flow across any genre. By day, Josh is the "Sandman" — South Florida's top international corporate sand sculptor and muralist.

03

Michael Hugh

Keyboards / Vocals

The sonic architect behind the keys, Michael runs the studio sessions as primary engineer, handling recording, mixing, and mastering. With tremendous vocal range and the technical depth of a seasoned producer, he adds the solid foundation that locks every arrangement together. He's the reason the band sounds as good on tape as they do on stage.

04

Peter Roland

Guitar

An absolutely killer guitarist whose playing elevates every room he's in. Peter brings a deep blues sensibility and serious chops to the band — the kind of player whose solos make people stop mid-conversation and just listen. Currently also performing with Kat Riggins Blues Revival USA, Peter is a world-class talent who adds another dimension of firepower to an already formidable lineup.

05

Gary "G Money" Williams

Bass

One of the most jaw-dropping funk bass players you will ever witness live. G Money doesn't just hold down the low end — he turns it into a spectacle. His bass solos are the kind of once-in-a-room experience that gets audiences wild with excitement, phones out, filming and sharing because they can't believe what they're hearing. A world-class player who organically creates viral moments every time he steps on stage.

06

David Nizri

Drums

The engine of the operation — a drummer with the feel to serve the song and the chops to elevate it. David's groove is the foundation everything else is built on, holding the band in the pocket through genre shifts, improvisational moments, and everything in between.

07

Mike Ancona

Bass

Low-end locked and deeply musical, Mike anchors the rhythm section with the kind of bass playing that makes the room feel it before they consciously hear it. Whether it's a reggae one-drop, a funk pocket, or a blues groove, he's the glue that holds the whole thing together.

08

Jarvis Jones

Drums

A pro's pro behind the kit — Jarvis is always gigging and brings zero stylistic boundaries to every performance. Rooted in the church drumming tradition, he carries that deep soul and pocket in everything he plays. His command of funk, soul, and high-energy rhythm makes him the kind of drummer that elevates the entire band, keeps the crowd locked in, and turns every show into an event.

09

Bob Cleary

Bass

A legendary South Florida bassist with decades of stage miles under his belt. Bob is one of those players every serious musician in the scene knows and respects — most frequently found holding down the low end with the Bobby Nathan Band. He brings the kind of deep, road-earned groove that only comes from a lifetime of gigging, and elevates every room he walks into.

SPECIAL GUESTS

Squidly Cole

Drums · Stephen Marley / Marley Family

Jamaica's legendary world-touring drummer for Stephen Marley and the Marley family. When he's off the road and in South Florida, he joins us. An unforgettable night every time.

Craig Woloshin

Pedal Steel

A pedal steel player who takes the show up an entire plateau of excellence. Craig's tone and note choices are so uniquely special they will give you goosebumps. The moment he plugs in, the whole room shifts — there's nothing quite like what he does to a live performance.

Lulu Coelho

Vocals

A stunning South Florida-based vocalist with a soulful presence that commands every stage she graces. Lulu brings a rare combination of beauty, polish, and raw vocal power — the kind of singer who stops a room cold the moment she opens her mouth. Deeply experienced, deeply expressive, and a perfect complement to the Stashbox sound when the moment calls for something truly special.

FAQ

What types of events do you play?

Stashbox plays festivals, casinos, resorts, private parties, corporate events, city concerts, and sporting events. We've played outdoor stages, hotel ballrooms, beach venues, and everything in between. If you have a stage and an audience, we're in.

How many musicians come with the band?

Stashbox scales from 2 to 8 pieces depending on your venue size, stage, and budget. A duo or trio is great for intimate venues and cocktail hours. The full 8-piece — guitar, bass, drums, keys, percussion, sax, second guitar, and vocals — is built for festival main stages and large event spaces.

We'll work with you to find the right configuration for your event.

Do you bring your own PA system?

Yes. Stashbox is fully self-contained with a professional PA system. We don't need you to supply a sound system or a sound engineer for most events. For very large outdoor stages, we can integrate with your existing production — just let us know what you have and we'll coordinate.

Can we customize the setlist?

Absolutely. We have 200+ songs in the catalog across rock, reggae, blues, funk, and originals. You can request specific songs, pick a genre focus, or tell us the vibe you want and let us build the set. The tribute shows (Dylan, Sublime, Classic Reggae) have dedicated setlists, but the mix show is fully customizable.

What is the Stashbox Does Dylan show?

It's a full-scale tribute to Bob Dylan spanning five decades of his catalog — from early folk and protest songs through his rock period, the country albums, and his late-career masterpieces. We recorded a 19-track live LP at Studio One in Fort Lauderdale in 2026. The show is fully arranged, fully rehearsed, and performs the material with real reverence for Dylan's songwriting.

If you want a sophisticated, emotionally resonant tribute production, this is the one.

How far in advance do we need to book?

For weekends and peak season dates (winter and spring in South Florida), 60–90 days ahead is ideal. We do take last-minute bookings when the calendar allows, so it's always worth reaching out even if your event is soon. Contact us and we'll let you know availability immediately.

Do you travel outside of South Florida?

Yes. Stashbox is based in South Florida but available for events anywhere. We've played events across Florida and travel nationally for festivals, casino engagements, and destination events. Travel and accommodation details are factored into the booking quote.

How do I get a quote or check availability?

The fastest way is to call or text 310.408.6687. You can also email booking@stashbox.com with your event date, venue, and a note about what you're looking for. We respond quickly and can usually get you a quote the same day.
