Stashbox respects copyright and expects artists, contributors, users, and partners to do the same. Music, sound recordings, compositions, videos, artwork, photographs, and other materials appear because Stashbox owns them or received authorization from a rightsholder or authorized representative.

1. Copyright and DMCA Contact

Copyright Agent
Dean Palermo, Elettro Incorporated
2231 SW 97th Road, Davie, Florida 33324, United States
310.408.6687
dpalermo@elettro.com

Service provider and alternate names include Elettro Incorporated, Stashbox, Stashbox Radio, Stashbox.com, and Stashbox.com/Radio.

2. Notice of Claimed Infringement

A written notice should include:

  1. a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right
  2. identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if one notice covers multiple works
  3. identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient for Stashbox to locate it, including the exact page or media URL when available
  4. contact information for the complaining party, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  5. a statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law
  6. a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act for the owner

Email notices with the subject “DMCA Notice for Stashbox.” Attach supporting ownership and authorization records when available.

3. Stashbox Response

Stashbox may remove or disable access to disputed material, notify the party who supplied it, preserve relevant records, request additional information, and take other steps appropriate under the circumstances. Stashbox may reject notices that do not provide enough information to identify the work, locate the material, or contact the sender.

4. Counter-Notification

A person whose material was removed or disabled due to a copyright notice may send a written counter-notification containing:

  1. a physical or electronic signature
  2. identification of the removed or disabled material and its location before removal
  3. a statement under penalty of perjury that the person has a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification
  4. the person’s name, address, and telephone number
  5. consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States federal district court and agreement to accept service of process from the original complaining party or its agent

After forwarding a valid counter-notification, Stashbox may restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt unless the original claimant reports that it filed a court action seeking to restrain the disputed activity.

5. Repeat Infringers

Where appropriate, Stashbox will terminate or restrict contributors or users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or repeatedly submit material without required rights.

6. Misrepresentations

A person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or counter-notification may face liability under applicable law. Submit claims only after reviewing ownership, licenses, fair use, public-domain status, and other relevant authority.

7. Artist and Ownership Disputes

Stashbox may pause or remove content while co-writers, publishers, labels, artists, producers, managers, estates, or other parties resolve an ownership or authority dispute. A private contract dispute may require documentation or a court order beyond a DMCA notice.

8. Copyright Office Designation

United States law provides a separate electronic process for a service provider seeking DMCA safe-harbor protection to register and maintain a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. The public contact above is the contact Stashbox uses to receive notices. The Copyright Office maintains the official designated-agent directory.

9. Contact

Send notices to dpalermo@elettro.com and mail a copy to Copyright Agent, Elettro Incorporated, 2231 SW 97th Road, Davie, Florida 33324, United States.
